Impossibilities is the "must see show" when visiting Pigeon Forge, Sevierville or Gatlinburg
Impossibilities is an interactive comedy magic and mind-reading show starring the Master Mentalist Erik Dobell.
Erik saw his first magician by chance at a mall in Ithaca, New York. His original plan was to train to be a professional wrestler, but at 5'5 he decided magic might be a better idea.
Since that time Dobell has traveled the world from New York to South Korea performing for clients like Macy's, Goodyear and the NFL. In 2016 he opened Impossibilities at the iconic Gatlinburg Space Needle where it played for 8 years, making it the longest running and most successful show at that theater.
Then in 2025 the show moved to it's own space, the Impossibilities Theater currently located at 1548 Parkway in Sevierville, Tennessee.
In the last 10 years Erik has performed over 2,000 shows in the Smokies and continues to perform anywhere from 3-7 days a week at the Impossibilities Theater, and that isn't counting all the private gigs!

Mentalism is a branch of magic that creates the illusion of things usually associated with "psychic" powers. So during the show you'll see Erik Dobell perform feats like mind-reading, psychokinesis, or predicting the future.
Erik also performs some more visual magic in the show. It's a light-hearted, fun performance that appeals to families, couples and people of all ages.

Locations: Our new home at 1548 Parkway in Sevierville is conveniently located next to a slew of restaurants and shopping areas. You can play games and eat at Dave & Busters, race at the NASCAR SpeedPark across the street, or shop at Tanger. And those are just a few of your options.
Show Length: Impossibilities runs 75-90 minutes with no intermission.
