Harry Houdini died October 31st, 1926.
A little over 10 years later, a Chicago magician named Les Sholty with the Society of American Magicians (SAM) would seek and eventually receive sanction for an official "Houdini Day" to be held annually on October 31st. This would eventually lead to a National Magic Week held the last week of October to coincide with the anniversary of Houdini's death.
Traditionally, magicians have celebrated National Magic Week by providing performances to the sick and in need. This year, Chris and Erik would like to carry on that tradition with Mountain Hope Good Shepherd Clinic.
We believe that the Mountain Hope Good Shepherd Clinic is deeply, deeply important and we would like to help them turn "no" into "yes".
