Any Mentalist (or Magician) who knows anything at all will know the name Joseph Dunninger. A contemporary of Harry Houdini, Dunninger is easily one of the most successful and prolific Mentalists of the 20th century and brought mind-reading shows into the mainstream. A rare combination of performer and creator made Dunninger a superstar. He was one of the first entertainers to be paid to perform on the radio and one of the most famous and recognizable voices in radio at that time.
His influence on the art of Mentalism and Magic is profound, even to this day.
Just like Erik mentioned in his video about Al Koran, we want the general public to be more aware of the history of these great performers. That’s why we were so excited when we found a link that was posted in a Facebook page that took us to a small archive of Dunninger’s radio appearances!
